A Note from the Firewall Food Stop:

Firewall Food Stop will officially be open for business starting May 31st. We will be open Fridays and Saturdays from 11am-9pm and Sundays from 11-3. The remaining days will be focused on kicking the food truck business back into gear. As time goes on we certainly plan to have the brick and mortar open on more days but for now it's #WestviewWeekends. As I'm sure many of you know the space is incredibly tiny but I think you'll all be pleasantly surprised with what I've done with the place. And it only took 18 months! That said it is take-out only, but we'll have a nice little side patio for your dining pleasure if you so choose. One important thing to note: we will be an entirely cashless establishment. We accept credit, debit, apple and android pay so please plan accordingly. Can’t wait to serve you all!!

Exciting news – the Westside Trail is getting its own nature trail! Our friends at Trees Atlanta have installed a 550’ slate chip spur trail with a small woodenbridge that runs through a section of old growth forest between the historic Mozley Park and Ashview Heights neighborhoods. The trail provides access to a new woodland garden on the arboretum that will include native plants, garden signage, plant tags, and plenty of opportunities for volunteers to roll up their sleeves and help. Insider tip: this pocket of woods is also home to the largest American Persimmon Tree in the state of Georgia! Trail entrances are on the western side of the trail, just south of the Holderness access point. The trail's abundant shade offers some great relief from the direct sunlight. Check this awesome new addition to the Atlanta BeltLine out next time you’re out cruising the Westside Trail.
