The cold has subsided (at least for now), so it's time for the Westview Vine Crew to assemble and tackle some of the vines that are smothering our community's trees! Please wear boots / tough work shoes, thick jeans / pants, and work gloves. Bring your chainsaw, hatchet, loppers, machetes, battery powered reciprocating saws (sawzalls), or any other tools you can use to cut these vines! We will be demonstrating various techniques. We will meet at the Community Garden lot (1439 S. Gordon) at 8:30am and will make our way toward Willard Ave. in the alley between S. Gordon St. and Stokes Ave.
