Check your alleys & vacant lots for tires that are needing to be disposed. Littered tires trap water that attracts rodents and mosquitoes. They also consume a lot of space, trap methane emissions and create a fire risk-- and tire fires are difficult to extinguish. MORE INFORMATION
Typically there is a cost to recycle tires and you have to unload them at CHaRM, but our neighbors, Jules and Eric, have volunteered to pick up tires and drop them off at CHaRM. All they ask is that you email your pick-up address to development@westviewatlanta.org and have the tires at your curb by 8AM this Saturday, 4/13/19.
