Greetings, neighbors!

We are preparing to demonstrate against Atlanta BeltLine, Inc.’s unwillingness to meet with our neighborhoods regarding the pending sale of their Murphy Crossing site. The demonstration will be held at the Beltline’s upcoming 3rd Quarterly Meeting aptly to discuss “Equity and Sustainability”. This meeting will be held this Tuesday, September 17th, from 6-8pm at the 725 Ponce Building (725 Ponce De Leon Ave NE, Atlanta, GA 30306). See attached.

At their meeting, we will confront the ABI staff on their intentions to not communicate with us, review the survey results, or engage our communities in any meaningful way. Furthermore, we will demand to meet with the Beltline to discuss the survey results, general community sentiments and community benefits agreements prior to the sale of the property.

We are encouraging community residents to show their support for this effort by:

#1) Attending the meeting

#2) Wearing RED T-Shirts in solidarity of the Group, and

#3) Speaking up during the Q/A period (or deferring your time to the leader)
